Important Trash Payment Changes
Changes Implemented in 2007
As of January 1, 2007, Lower Pottsgrove Township has implemented the following changes to trash collection in the Township:
All residents on private streets with more than 10 residences who currently receive municipal waste services under the Township's waste contract will no longer receive these services. These residents are required to contract with a private hauler of their choice to provide trash, recycling, and other waste removal services.
All residents who continue to receive municipal waste services will be billed $137.50 once a year in May to offset increases in costs to the Township.
