In Lower Pottsgrove Township we require a private sewer lateral inspection to be completed upon property transfer. Typically, the seller/agent will contract with a private plumber/licensed contractor in plumbing to televise the lateral from the house to the main. Once they complete this, they submit it to the township for the engineers to review. Upon review/approval the township will send the approval to the applicant listed on the request.
