Providing larger recycling bins would encourage greater recycling within Lower Pottsgrove Township. The red totes given to residents now do not provide adequate space for the recyclable waste produced by many households. These bins are often left at the curb without lids which causes litter to blow into our neighborhoods and streets. When it rains or snows, the recycling bins fill with water and weigh down all the paper products. Providing bin lids would help to avoid this issue.
